The car saves effectively on weight to excel in speed, and its curb weight is approximately 1,225 kg. In the cockpit, Ferrari have removed all excessive luxuries that might increase the weight of the car. There are no stereos, speakers or even carpets in the Ferrari F430 Challenge and even the standard seats have been replaced by seats that are exclusively designed for racing. Even the steering wheel of the car has been replaced by a racing edition of the wheel.

There are buttons available on the dash board to provide communication with the radio in the pit, and an interface option with the digital instrument display is also an availability. The car also features a full roll cage and harnesses for racing in the cockpit to provide better safety while driving at a fast speed. The stability system, as well as the traction control system has both been disengaged permanently from the Ferrari F430 Challenge. You can spot modifications that have been made to facilitate in racing in the car everywhere, and even the E differential of the car has been replaced by a mechanical version.

Even the suspension modules of the Ferrari F430 Challenge have been modified to facilitate racing. The engine of the car is the same one that was used in the Ferrari F430, which is the 90° 4.3 liter V8. Just like its counterpart, the Ferrari F430 Challenge produces the same output, which rests at 483 hp. However, the engine of the car has been modified to include Double Overhead Camshafts, and it contains 4 valves in every cylinder. Natural aspiration has been, and always was, used in the car.
