Saat ini VW mengimpor semua produknya ke Indonesia yang otomatis dikenakan pajak bea masuk sebesar 200%. Jika VW sudah memproduksi mobil di Indonesia, dipastikan mobil-mobil VW akan dijual lebih murah dari harga sebelumnya.
